The 8th Forum @ Kanada Haus is a very special edition. 2017 marks the 150th anniversary of Canadian confederation. Germany and Canada share a strong commitment to creating an environment that fosters innovation in sustainable technologies („CleanTech“). This is essential to meeting our countries’ climate change targets under the Paris Agreement. It is also good business. Canadian and German companies are benefiting from growing global demand for CleanTech goods and services. Alongside this, our countries have developed sophisticated, but differing institutional ecosystems that promote research, development and commercialization of CleanTech products and processes. We have much to learn from each other.
