Montréal ist die Wirtschafts- und Kulturmetropole der kanadischen Provinz Québec. Montreal gehört auch weltweit zu den sogenannten innovativen und kreativen Städten. Der Vortrag gibt, auf Basis von Konzepten zu städtischen Innovations-Ökosystemen, interessante Einblicke in Montréals vielfältige kreative Projekte und Unternehmen und deren Funktionsweisen.
Professor Dr. Christoph Barmeyer ist Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Interkulturelle Kommunikation an der Universität Passau und Programmbeauftragter für den deutsch-französischen Doppelmaster-Studiengang mit der Universität Aix-en-Provence. Er forscht zur Interkulturalität in Organisationen und Wirtschaftssystemen mit Schwerpunkt Frankreich, Québec und Deutschland. Ausgewählte Buchpublikationen: Management Interculturel. Montréal is the economic hub as well as cultural metropolis of the Canadian province of Québec. Montréal is worldwide part of the so called innovate and creative cities. The lecture will provide insight to Montréal versatile creative projects and companies and their operating modes on basis of the concepts concerning the urban innovation-ecosystem.
Professor Dr. Christoph Barmeyer is chair of the faculty for intercultural communication at the University of Passau and programme officer for the German-French Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Interkulturelle Kommunikation an der Universität Passau und Programmbeauftragter für den deutsch-französischen Master-Programme with the University in Aix-en-Provence. He researches the interculturality in organisation and economic systems with focus on France, Québec and Germany. Selected book publications: Management Interculturel.
