Am Samstag, 23. Juni 2018 lädt die Deutsch-Kanadische Gesellschaft und der KANADATREFF Düsseldorf ins Filmmuseum Düsseldorf, Schulstr. 4, 40213 Düsseldorf ein.
Nach einem gemeinsamen Empfang und einem persönlichen Austausch ab 16 Uhr wird gegen 17 Uhr der Film Maudie in der „Blackbox“ gezeigt. Desweiteren werden Teilnehmer vom Nova Scotia Tourism erfahren, wo die Handlungen des Films im Ursprung stattgefunden haben.
Wir möchten uns schon heute für die freundliche Unterstützung durch das Kanadische Konsulat in Düsseldorf, hier insbesondere bei der kanadischen Konsulin Marthe Lemay, sowie beim Direktor des Filmmuseums, Bernd Desinger ganz herzlich bedanken.
Die Uhrzeit wurde auch gewählt, um allen Teilnehmern die Möglichkeit zu geben, entweder gemeinsam oder alleine anschließend das Vorrundenspiel bei der Fussball-Weltmeisterschaft in Russland zwischen Deutschland und Schweden verfolgen zu können. Eine mögliche Location hierfür werden wir garantiert auch finden.

The German-Canadian Association (DKG) and the KANADATREFF Düsseldorf invite all Canada Lovers and Canadians to a special event to the Filmmuseum Düsseldorf, Schulstraße 4, 40213 Düsseldorf.
After a common reception at 4 pm and some exchanges among the participants the Canadian movie „Maudie“ will be shown in the „Blackbox“ cinema at 5 pm. Furthermore all participants get the chance to be informed about the real setting of this true story by the Nova Scotia Tourism.

The time was chosen in order to give all participants the chance to watch the soccer match between Germany and Sweden (World Championship 2018 in Russia) at 8 pm. Maybe we can watch it together if you like. We are sure, that we will find a location for it, too!
